The Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking human resources executive to lead comprehensive workforce strategy and oversight, supporting SCOE’s mission to serve students, families, and the broader educational community. The Chief Administrator, Human Resources is SCOE’s senior HR executive, leading recruitment, compensation, credentialing, labor relations, and employment compliance; ensuring adherence with the Merit System Act and Education Code; and overseeing commission policy, operations, staffing, and budget. The role advises on workforce strategy, bargaining, contract administration, grievances, and EEO practices, and drives personnel systems that support a high-performing, inclusive organization.
