The Standardized Account Code Structure (SACS) software is California’s required financial reporting tool for K-12 education, ensuring revenues and expenditures are recorded accurately and consistently. As the system used to report on the use of public funds, a strong understanding of SACS is essential for effective fiscal management and financial accuracy.

This course is designed to demystify the SACS software during the budget development cycle. Participants will gain practical guidance on completing key forms, understanding reporting requirements, and building confidence in navigating the system.

This course is provided in collaboration with the Fiscal Crisis and Management Assistance Team.
