The human resources (HR) leadership role is complicated and leaders both experienced and new to the responsibility of managing the HR function are challenged to overcome the operational obstacles that frequent a local educational agency’s (LEA) HR office. This course covers essential HR operations with a focus on leadership practices to effectively manage the HR department at various levels and influence change management for operational efficiencies.
The presenters will cover HR aptitude for certificated and classified HR leaders, strategies to help HR leaders strengthen operations, build staff capacity, and lead through change. Participants will gain practical insights into organizational structure, communication, and engagement with executive leadership to support efficient and responsive HR functions.
